Question About old hospitals?

ok, i have search the internet for month looking for a perserved antique hospital that has not been destroyed or run down, and i have found nothing, a group of friends and i wish to take a trip to a hospital of that nature to learn more about the surgical practices/medical practices of the old docs, if you know that information it would be greatly appreciated, if it helps we live in AL and we are willing to travel in order to see a Hospital like that, Thanks for your time (no silly/rude answers please)

P.S i run across a guy one time that found a perserved hospital and bought it out to sell the equipment (which i would NOT do) so i know that their has to be a perserved hospital somewhere out their i just cant find it yet but if you can help me please do, Thanks -Cody

Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville Tennessee fits your Bill. It has been expanded over the years, but the Core of the Original Hospital is still intact. Vanderbilt University Medical Center also fits your Bill, and it’s a Teaching Hospital.
